Marshall serves as Managing Principal of Vizient’s Organizational and Process Solutions team which provides leading performance improvement and management systems services to the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, he served internationally in leadership roles with both Procter & Gamble and General Electric focused on Operations, Quality and Global Supply Chain. Marshall’s areas of expertise and professional skills include overseeing the continuous improvement of Vizient’s Lean enterprise deployment model to match the ever-changing needs of the healthcare industry. He has overseen numerous Lean focused consulting engagements throughout the United States. As a graduate of General Electric’s Operations Management Leadership Program Marshall has experience in various supply chain capacities including quality engineering and global sourcing for both GE and Procter & Gamble. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dave Munch, M.D.
Chief Clinical Officer
Dave oversees all of HPP’s clinical and Lean Healthcare engagements. He plays a lead role in new services development and HPP’s continuous adaptation to the healthcare industry’s ever-changing needs. Dave previously served at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center as their Chief Clinical and Quality Officer. He led their Lean Production applications for more than five years, resulting in substantial improvements in both clinical and non-clinical processes.Dave has been a frequent speaker on the subject of leadership effectiveness and Lean transformation for a number of healthcare organizations including Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), The University of Rochester Medical Center, Yale-New Haven Health System, Tulane University Medical Center, Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative, Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI), and the Voluntary Hospital Association (VHA). Dave has served on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s High Reliability Advisory Group, has an extensive background in hospital operations, health plan governance, physician organization governance and clinical practice in Internal Medicine.Dave received his M.D. from the University of Colorado’s Health Sciences Center. He is also a faculty member for the Belmont University Lean Healthcare Certificate Program.
Ronnie brings more than six years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, Ronnie spent 20 plus years in various industries around the globe developing and improving processes and coaching leaders around the Lean and Six Sigma methodology. With Ronnie’s diverse and well-rounded background he brings a unique perspective to the healthcare industry where he has consulted with some of the nation’s leading healthcare systems and hospitals in all disciplines of the value chain from the procurement of supplies and spend through the discharge and follow up with the patient for readmission prevention. Before joining Vizient, Ronnie was Vice President and Senior Professional over supply chain consulting for The Access Group/TranSystems Company in Kansas City, MO. In the years prior, he was Director of Lean, North American Operations with the Robert Bosch Company. Ronnie has documented over $8 million dollars in saving achievements at various healthcare institutions and has been a key note speaker at various consortiums on the topics of supply chain, Lean Transformation and Lean Led Hospital Design. Ronnie is an adjunct professor of Quality and Project Management at Union University in Hendersonville, Tennessee and is an adjunct professor for Belmont University’s Lean Healthcare Certificate program. He is also a frequent blogger on the Lean Healthcare Exchange. Terry Howell Ed.D
Terry brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare performance improvement. Prior to HPP, Terry was the Chief Quality Officer at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His responsibilities included oversight and coordination of performance improvement, service excellence, employee safety and organization-wide planning. Prior to joining HCMC, Terry served as Vice President for Performance Improvement at Tri City Medical Center, as Senior Vice President for Performance Improvement, at HMD: The Smart Hospital Company and as President of Executive Learning, a management consulting firm specializing in healthcare performance improvement, strategic planning and customer service. Terry regularly consults with clients engaged in Lean transformations, strategic deployment, management system implementation, learning systems development and patient experience improvement. He received a Doctorate of Education degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee followed by post-doctoral work in Organizational Development. Terry has served on the faculty of the Institute of Healthcare Quality Improvement (IHI), the Healthcare Quality Improvement National Demonstration Project and taught graduate courses in Tulane University’s International Medical Management program.
Janet has more than 20 years of Lean and process improvement experience in healthcare and manufacturing. She leads lean transformation and process improvement consulting engagements in clinical, non-clinical, and business operations of hospitals and has led projects in departments including Inpatient Nursing, Emergency Room, and Imaging, Laboratory, Pharmacy, IT and Human Resources. This has resulted in reductions in Length of Stay, improved turn-around times and streamlined workflows. Prior to her work in healthcare, Janet was in the automotive industry where she was a lead instructor of Lean principles for the Ford Production System. She also served as Product Development Engineer and held leadership positions as Superintendent of Body Shop and Final Assembly Operations and Lead Engineer for multiple vehicle launches. In these roles she was responsible for both quality performance and production operations of current model and new vehicle launches. Janet holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina. She has also obtained Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Linda brings more than seven years of experience in the healthcare industry. She leads Lean Healthcare transformation and process improvement engagements for Vizient. Prior to joining Vizient, Linda was with Vanguard Health Systems as a process improvement specialist providing leadership and support for regional and hospital level process improvement teams. She has nearly 30 years of experience in business leadership, program management and lean transformation. Linda’s areas of expertise and professional skills include teaching, facilitating and coaching any and all levels of a healthcare system to improve processes and sustain the improvement for all areas of healthcare including hospital patient flow value streams, support services, finance and ambulatory services. Linda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Volunteer State in Tennessee.
Lean Design Consultant
Nicole brings more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, Nicole worked in the Occupational/Employee Health field where she designed and successfully implemented programs focused on reducing employer costs. From there, her concentration shifted to managing the safety and liability of over 1,100 employees, providers and the patients they served as a Risk/Quality Manager where she significantly reduced her employer’s annual workers compensation premiums. Nicole’s career path then led her to assisting in the Lean transformation at Monroe Clinic. This five-year journey included the transformation of their main 100 licensed bed hospital, 10 satellite clinics and the design and construction of a new 225,000 square-foot facility. Nicole has successfully implemented over 50 different 5S strategies in virtually every hospital and clinic setting, facilitated over three dozen Kaizen events, led 3P events, move planning, workplace organization, and led a patient move day for a LEED Silver certified hospital. As a Vizient Consultant, she specializes in facilitating and managing Lean Led Design engagements. Nicole’s expertise and professional skills include a profound understanding of the healthcare industry along with the effectiveness of Lean tools enabling her to help guide and influence others to think and see differently. Her attention to detail makes her an ideal project manager with the expertise required in improving workflow and documenting new standards for clients. Aaron has consulted with leading healthcare organizations across the country, including Denver Health, Mayo Franciscan Health System, University Health Services, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Henry Ford Health System, and many others. His areas of expertise and professional skills include guiding organizations through strategically driven changes and enhancing business performance, with significant experience in needs assessment, best practice analysis, performance measurement, process improvement, and behavioral change management. Prior to joining Vizient, Aaron worked for Kronos, Aetna, and Executive Learning in support of various change management, organizational development, workforce management, and process improvement initiatives. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee with a minor in Industrial Engineering.
Bill Kirkwood, Ph.D.

Bill brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, Bill worked in both system and individual hospital settings in the Midwest and Northeast United States, leading transformational change management initiatives. This experience includes leading service line re-design initiatives [e.g. perinatal services, case management and care model design] as well as serving in an executive capacity in quality, operations and human resources. Bill’s areas of expertise and professional skills include facilitating change management strategies. He has worked with leadership teams in developing and implementing Lean Management Systems and Organizational Design efforts. He serves as Adjunct Faculty in the University of Cincinnati’s Masters in Health Administration in addition to being a certified Executive Coach. He has presented at several national conferences including Institute for Healthcare Improvement, the Organizational Development Network and American Society for Quality as well as being inducted into the Union Institute and University’s Circle of Scholars for his dissertation “The Current State of the Patient Care Nurse’s Vocational Calling”. Bill holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Xavier University and a Doctorate in Organizational Behavior from the Union Institute and University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dan has 30 years of healthcare experience in many clinical and leadership roles. He leads Lean transformation and process improvement consulting engagements for Vizient. His prior experience includes serving as a senior consultant and pharmacy services leader for ValuMetrix Services deploying Lean in hospitals across numerous healthcare disciplines including Imaging, Laboratory, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Physician Offices, successfully delivering process improvements and bottom-line results. Dan was trained in Lean at Cardinal Health and began his first Lean business transformation as Director of Operational Excellence Deployment responsible for implementing Lean throughout Cardinal’s nuclear pharmacy business where he led numerous projects in cross functional areas including pharmacy operations, warehousing, IT, and finance resulting in more than $3 million in financial benefit. He began his healthcare career in retail pharmacy. As a nuclear pharmacist, he was responsible for providing radiopharmaceuticals and consulting services to physicians and hospitals. He advanced to pharmacy manager and then to director of operations, responsible for 13 facilities and 300 employees as well as financial performance. He also enjoys teaching lean concepts and has been a featured speaker at a variety of healthcare industry events. Dan holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Louisiana and a Specialty Certification in Nuclear Pharmacy from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Ken has seven years of healthcare experience in leading hospitals, clinics and healthcare related organizations through Lean transformations and specialized consulting for Vizient. Prior to Vizient, Ken was Director Continuous Improvement for Cummins Filtration. He has over 20 years’ experience leading lean in a manufacturing environment. Within the healthcare industry he has worked with prominent academic medical centers, large clinic systems and community hospitals across the United States. He has a proven background to be a change agent, utilizing business metrics to analyze and develop lean strategies that address the voice of the customer. Ken has experience of accomplishing improvements in hospital capacity resulting overall LOS reduction, inpatient Care Optimization with focus in Case Management and Transition of Care resulting in reduction of readmissions, Surgical Services resulting in improved inventory management, surgical case management and improved throughput, Outpatient Care Optimization with focus on clinic throughput and patient satisfaction/safety as it relates to medication management and implementation of Lean Management Systems to achieve sustainment in overall system performance. He is an instructor in a lean certificate program and has been a featured speaker at a variety of healthcare industry events. Blair brings more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She began her career in the nuclear utilities industry where she worked in information systems deployment, document control, and systems improvement. Blair left that industry as the Corporate Manager of Leadership Development for the Tennessee Valley Authority. Her areas of expertise and professional skills include performance measurement and improvement methodologies, information systems implementation, strategic planning and deployment, and project management. Blair is also an educated and experienced instructional designer and master trainer, having developed numerous performance-based training programs and trained novice trainers to a high level of competency in delivering educational offerings. She has consulted with hospitals, integrated health systems, physician group practices, payer organizations, and pharmaceutical companies across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Blair holds both a Master of Business Administration degree and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee. Her undergraduate work was performed at Emory & Henry College.
Brad brings more than 20 years of consulting experience primarily in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, he spent four years as Vice President Operations & Quality for a $160M multi-channel merchant (dotcom). This was preceded by 20 years with GE as a manufacturing engineer, operations leader, healthcare consultant, and regional consulting practice leader. Brad assists Vizient members in making large-scale, transformational change within their organizations, using Lean, Six-Sigma and other, proven methods, resulting in, substantially, improved operating performance. He partners with clients to architect the change, plan and coach the implementation, realize and reinvest the results. Brad is a recognized industry expert in Strategy Deployment, Process Optimization, Change Management, Management Systems, Workforce Development, Executive Coaching, and Value-Realization. He has coached more than 35 healthcare organizations, ranging from small community hospitals to multi-hospital IDNs through large-scale, transformational, change resulting in both improved operational and improved clinical performance. Additionally, he has led multiple, focused projects in clinical operations and clinical informatics, providing clients a substantial return on investment. Tom brings more than 15 years of continuous improvement experience in the healthcare industry. He oversees all Lean demonstration and development engagements for HPP. Before joining HPP, Tom served as President of Transformation Group, Inc. He developed TGI Healing Healthcare, a brand of Lean Healthcare training tools designed to make lasting improvements. Tom helps healthcare organizations make lasting improvements through development of improvement systems. He has led healthcare organizations in both the development of high-level Lean Strategies down to hands-on implementation of Lean in a clinical setting. Tom has developed an excellent working knowledge of Lean practices and principles by working with a diverse client base of all sizes and prominence. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and has achieved the levels of Certified Lean Specialist from the Business Improvement Group and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), along with being an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer. His training background includes Lean, Quality, and Leadership Training, as well as serving as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
Mike brings more than 32 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, Mike spent five years as a healthcare consulting manager with Dixon Hughes Goodman and KPMG. He has also been a manager in consulting services for VHA and a division director of management engineering for HCA. Before that, he was a regional director of clinical and operations improvement with Premier. Prior to his healthcare experience, Mike was an industrial engineer with Michelin Tire Corporation and Fluor Construction Services. Mike’s areas of expertise and professional skills include Lean-Led Design, Rapid Process Improvement using Lean methodologies, Labor Benchmarking & Productivity Management and Flexible Staff Planning. His key achievements and accomplishments include leading interdisciplinary design teams in the development of innovative patient workflows in both inpatient and outpatient facilities that significantly reduced process waste and improved staffing productivity and patient satisfaction. His process improvement and labor productivity engagements have resulted in a total of over $75 million in savings. Maureen Sullivan, RN
Maureen brings more than 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, Maureen spent five years with Lutheran Medical Center and the former Exempla Healthcare System as the Director of Lean and Quality Improvement. Maureen also held a variety of roles in process improvement, nursing management and medical surgical nursing with Saint Joseph Hospital as part of the SCL Health System. Maureen’s areas of expertise and professional skills include facilitation and training of quality and strategy deployment, lean process improvement, lean management systems including coaching of leaders at all levels of the organization. Maureen has worked with a variety of organizations including small rural hospitals, for profit and not for profit community hospitals, large academic medical systems, primary and specialty clinic care, quality networks and healthcare facility architects. Steve has over eight years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, Steve was with the Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative focused on Healthcare reform through “Lean” methodology for several years. He then worked in New England with the Metro-West Health System as their Lean Coordinator before joining Healthcare Performance Partners which is now a Vizient company. Steve’s areas of expertise and professional skills are focused on process improvement methodology and organizational transformation and culture change through “Lean”. He is accomplished in the facilitation, training and development of organizations through fundamental Lean practices reinforced by detailed executive coaching. Steve’s clients have had extraordinary success in quality, productivity, safety and customer satisfaction highlighted by the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina which is recognized as among the top “Lean” healthcare facilities in the world. Prior to healthcare, Steve worked in automotive manufacturing for over 37 years with General Motors and Toyota where he studied Lean in the Toyota Production System application at various levels of management responsibility and applications throughout North America. Richard brings more than ten years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, Richard spent 17 years in the automotive industry. Richard’s experience at several major automotive manufacturers and suppliers including Japanese, German and American companies range from process development and project launch to product design optimization to improve cost, quality and safety. After moving to the healthcare industry in 2006, he has been able to apply his depth of lean and process improvement knowledge to improve quality, safety, financial and satisfaction outcomes for multiple healthcare clients. Richard’s areas of expertise and professional skills include all aspects of lean healthcare principles, tools, application and leadership development. He has facilitated more than 250 improvement activities in healthcare across all aspects of clinical operations including Emergency Department, Surgical Services, Cath Lab, Inpatient Nursing, Diagnostic turnaround time, and Support Services. Richard is the lead instructor at the Belmont University Lean Healthcare Certificate Course and delivers the Lean Fundamentals, Data Analytics and Coaching courses at the Denver Health Lean Academy. Thomas Wallen, AIA, ACHA
Tom brings more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare design and construction industry. Prior to joining Vizient, Tom served as a senior healthcare design principal at both HDR and Gresham, Smith and Partners, both top-ranked international healthcare architectural design firms. Tom leads Vizient’s Lean Facility Solutions group, applying Lean methodologies to healthcare design and construction projects to develop safer and more efficient healthcare facilities. His designs have been recognized nationally and internationally for their contribution to improved medical outcomes, reduction in preventable medical error, operational efficiencies and lower construction costs. Tom led the design team for Denver Health’s AHRQ-funded, continuous quality improvement initiative, “Getting it Right: Perfecting the Patient Experience” by creating a safe, efficient, lean facility which transformed Denver Health’s delivery of care. Additionally, he was the architect of St Joseph’s Hospital of West Bend, Wisconsin, the first-of-its-kind replacement hospital specifically designed to reduce preventable medical error. The design has been featured in publications nationwide including The Wall Street Journal and the Joint Commission Resources book “Safe by Design: Designing Safety in Health Care Facilities, Processes, and Culture” contributing author. Tom received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Lawrence Institute of Technology in Southfield, Michigan. He is licensed as an Architect in multiple states, and is a member of The American Institute of Architects.
Bob has 40 years of process improvement experience with over 10 years of Lean healthcare experience. He leads Lean Healthcare transformations for Vizient and provides consulting services in a variety of areas within healthcare. Bob has successfully conducted Kaizen events throughout the Emergency Department, registration, floor units and operating rooms to significantly reduce ED LOS, reduce registration errors, and reduce floor admit time significantly. Prior to joining Healthcare Performance Partners (HPP) / Vizient, Bob served as vice president of Juran Institute, Inc. He worked extensively with the Institute’s Six Sigma consulting practice and lean applications. He has conducted over 40 Green Belt and Black Belt classes with savings generated of over $400 million. Prior to joining Juran, he was the founder and principal of Watson Associates, assisting multiple Fortune 500 clients achieve productivity gains and reduce inventory levels. Bob began his career on General Electric’s Manufacturing Management Program and he progressed through numerous management positions across 5 separate business sites. Bob has developed training for Lean, Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS.) He has also spoken at several Healthcare, American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and American Society for Quality (ASQ) functions. He is a Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) Six Sigma Master Black Belt (ASQ and Juran certified) and Production and Inventory Manager (CPIM). He received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
Jamie has more than 15 years of healthcare and health system experience and has held leadership positions in management consulting, hospital administration, business development, and performance improvement. She currently leads transformation and operational engagements and performs specialized facilitation and consulting services for Vizient. Prior to this, she spent four years working with a consortium of public hospitals in Australia and New Zealand, where led improvement initiatives focused in nursing, imaging, and women’s health. While abroad, Jamie also provided lean-based consulting, training, and coaching services to clinical and non-clinical teams. Jamie completed an administrative fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), worked in product development for MGH’s spin-off Radiology Consulting Group, and managed business development for Partners Healthcare’s research, ventures, and licensing group, focusing on marketing and commercializing intellectual property. In her consulting role at Deloitte & Touche, she assisted both payer and employer clients in the healthcare space. Jamie received her Bachelor of Art in Sociology with concentrations in Health & Medicine and the Sociology of Law, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Additionally, Jamie received a Master of Healthcare Management and Policy from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Jeff has over seven years of healthcare experience in a broad array of functional areas. He leads Lean transformation and process improvement consulting engagements for Vizient. His experience includes deploying Lean in hospitals across numerous healthcare disciplines including Imaging, Laboratory, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Physician Offices, successfully delivering process improvements and bottom-line results. Prior to transitioning to healthcare, Jeff was trained in Lean at Colgate-Palmolive, a world class manufacturer of consumer products. Since transitioning to healthcare, Jeff has applied Lean principles to help organizations achieve significant change in clinical and non-clinical areas. He specializes in healthcare revenue cycle management. While serving a client undertaking a Revenue Cycle transformation Jeff led the organization to realize $8mm annually by streamlining processes and capturing lost revenue. Additionally, Jeff enjoys leading clients in the application of Lean principles to the design of healthcare facilities. He has a unique ability to connect providers and staff with leaders and designers to ensure that the resulting facility will meet the needs of the caregivers and patients in the most efficient manner. Jeff has worked on projects ranging from free standing emergency centers to large hospitals. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Daniela brings more than 15 years of business transformation and process improvement experience primarily in the healthcare industry. Prior to Vizient, Daniela served as Senior Director Operational Excellence with Matrix Medical Network providing PMO design, project and portfolio management, leadership development, and lean operations support. Daniela also served as a Global Director Business Improvement with Rio Tinto implementing large scale transformation initiatives and delivering over 40 million net EBITDA bottom line results. She obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Universidad Externado, South America and holds a Lean Master Black Belt certification.
Karen, a Registered Nurse, brings more than 30 years of experience in clinical and leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, Karen spent 10 years in complex project management; operationalizing multi-million dollar design and construction projects in both acute and ambulatory settings. Her areas of expertise and professional skills include an unusual blend of facilities/plant ops experience paired with clinical nursing and leadership roles in a variety of specialties including Cardiovascular Services, Surgical Services, and Pediatrics. She has successfully led multi- disciplinary work teams through Lean operational, space planning, and work redesign efforts resulting in significantly improved efficiency, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement. Karen led the project management and operationalization of a $200 million, 345,000 sq. ft., LEED certified tower addition at Cone Health. The three, 32-bed Nursing Units associated with the project all achieved 99% patient satisfaction scores after opening. She has extensive experience in facilities planning for inpatient procedural and support services as well as outpatient clinic settings. Karen coordinated the development of one of the first freestanding Emergency Departments in North Carolina. She received her Master’s degree in Health Administration from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Duke University.
Rick has over 30 years of healthcare and performance improvement experience. In his current role with Vizient, he leads consulting engagements in the improvement of Value Capture through infection reduction, quality metric improvement, surgical patient process optimization, LOS reduction, and patient flow enhancement. His prior experience includes serving on the Senior Team of Heritage Valley Health System as VP or Quality and Operations. In his Quality role he led the successful integration of Lean and Analytics in the two hospital health system and supported the completion of more than 300 projects with multiple clinical and non-clinical related awards received by the health system as the result of these improvement efforts. Rick recently presented his work on CLABSI elimination entitled “Gone in 60 Days” at the Healthcare Business Summit and the financial impact of this work at the Healthcare Financial Management Association. “Gone in 60 Days” has already demonstrated cost avoidance of over $5 Million across 13 hospitals and is now evolving to reduction of CAUTI and C. Difficile infections. Rick’s expertise in Healthcare Analytics has expanded his work in several heath systems that want to integrate a higher level of data analysis into their Lean or other process improvement methodology. Rick served as an examiner on the U.S. Malcolm Baldrige Board of Examiners. He received 14 patents with PPG Industries and earned a degree in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma received from Air Academy Associates.
Sidhartha (Sid) brings more than three years of operations and strategy experience from the energy and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Vizient, Sid spent time with multiple non-profits, the state of Georgia, a private energy consulting firm, and Schlumberger, the world’s largest oilfield services company. Sid’s areas of expertise and professional skills include operations, strategy, and design. Through government, consulting firms and Fortune 500 companies like Schlumberger, Sid has worked in multiple capacities with a variety of teams internationally. Sid holds the following experiences among his key achievements. While serving as a consultant for a major manufacturing company, Sid and his team created an optimization algorithm projected to save the company more than $7M over one year. At a former company, he utilized process improvement to continuously realize savings. He has received multiple awards for his leadership and service within his communities. At Georgia Tech, he led a group of administrators and students to start Georgia Tech’s first food pantry—significantly reducing the number of students on campus facing insecurity. Sid continued to serve as chair of the advisory board until his graduation. Sid received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, GA. He has lived in India, Egypt, France, and Dubai and has varying levels of analytical, writing, and listening proficiency in English, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, Urdu, and multiple Indian dialects.
